HOW TO EXTRACT TEXT FROM IMAGES USING OCR SOFTWARE

This Tutorial is Mostly Suitable for Students & Office workers and others who find it Important.
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a method that allows you to Convert scanned documents into editable text form. If you have to copy some book or other piece of work from a paper into your computer then most probably you will type the whole text in Microsoft, but using OCR softwares all you need to do is to take the photograph of the document.Is that not time saving?
Of course the accuracy of the convert text is not 100% but most of the time it is close to 100%. The Image formats that are supported by most of the OCR softwares are JPEG, PNG, PDF, BMP, GIFF and TIFF.
Example:-
Maybe you want to copy out the wordings from a Magazine Page or a Textbook, You dont have to write it out, Just Follow the Steps below.
FOLLOW THIS STEPS:
1:- Download this Free OCR Application, It works well.
NOTE: You need Internet to Install the OCR on your PC after Downloading!
2:- Scan the Magazine or Text Book Page you want to Extract Text from to your PC and then Open the OCR Software you downloaded.
3:- Then Click on Open from the Menu Bar above and Browse for the Scanned Image or any Image you want to Extract Text from > then Click on the OCR on the Tab and Click on Start OCR Process from the Drop-down , The Text content of the Image will be Extracted from the Image and it will be Displayed on the Right Hand Side of the Sofware, You can now Print or Save it now!

HOW TO SAVE THE TEXT GENERATED
After Generating the Text, You might want to Save the Resulting Output, Just Follow this:
Click on the Text tab > then Save Text and input any File name you want.
=> You can Clear the Content on the Text Result Page by clicking on the Text tab > Clear Text Windows.
